Meet Tanya
Tanya is a Professional Certified Coach with the International Coach Federation with over 30 years of leadership experience. She has coached leaders in post-secondary education, First Nations education, global education, advanced education, healthcare, law, crown corporations, human resources, not-for-profit, territorial, and municipal governments. Tanya is a licensed trainer for Coaching Out of the Box ® Coaching 5/5/5, Personality Dimensions, and is certified in the Meyers Briggs Type Indicator, Strength Deployment Inventory ®, Level 1, as well as LEADS 360.
Tanya has a deep commitment to connect, and co-create impactful change within leaders and organizations to assist them in accelerating target goals. She deftly builds trust and consistently gets results. She is a strong, strategic partner and an excellent facilitator.
At the heart of Tanya’s 30 year career, she has primarily worked in the traditional territories of the Kwanlin Dunn, and Ta’an Kwach’an Council championing the power of collaboration in building strong working relationships. Recently, her passion for working with our future leaders has taken her to Vancouver Island University.
Tanya uses a strength-based approach in her coaching practice. She focuses on her clients’ core competencies, challenges their thinking, and supports them in stretching and reaching their goals. Tanya believes that organizations that invest in leadership coaching can unleash outstanding results in their leaders, moving them from high potential to high performance.
Tanya enjoys kayaking, cycling, fishing and golfing. Alongside her husband of +25 years, and adult children, Tanya enjoys spending time with family and friends amidst the natural beauty of the Yukon and BC’s west coast.
